Lincoln Home National Historic Site

Step into the world of the Lincoln family when you enter the only home he ever owned. Take a stroll through the lovely neighborhood surrounding the home for a rare glimpse into the daily lives of Lincoln – as a husband and father, a neighbor and friend, a lawyer and a politician. You’ll see actual Lincoln family furnishings and period artifacts in the authentically reproduced rooms of the home that has become a national treasure.

There is no charge to tour the Lincoln Home, but a ticket is required with an assigned tour time. Be sure to stop by the Lincoln Home Visitor Center to pick up your tour ticket. Tickets are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
