Lincoln In The District

Join in celebrating Quincy’s Lincoln legacy during this unique festival on the historic downtown square with activities centering on the life and times of Abraham Lincoln. Enjoy living history reenactments with Lincoln’s closest Quincy friends and meet Lincoln himself! Expect demonstrations of rail splitting, period crafts, vintage baseball, children's' activities, and Civil War medicine and field embalming processes. Visit a Civil War encampment, the Lincoln-Douglas Debate Interpretive Center, the stately History Museum, a documented Underground Railroad station, and nearby historic sites. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride; enjoy period music and refreshments; purchase crafts from vendors; and much more.
