If you're driving to Springfield from the west on I-72,  Your journey can start in Quincy and  then Pittsfield is about 10 minutes from I-72 and short drive away.  Jacksonville is right off of I-72 and about 40 minutes from Springfield.  Beardstown  is about 40 minutes west of Springfield on Route 125
