How about Looking for Lincoln by following “The Looking for Lincoln Story Trail.”

Looking for Lincoln has found a way to tell intriguing Lincoln stories that are unique to each community. We’ve created over 200 wayside exhibits (sometimes called story boards). Local historians and Lincoln enthusiasts helped us identify the people and events that connect them to Lincoln. Then we helped them to build wayside exhibits which describe the people and events on Lincoln’s unimaginable journey to greatness. Some communities might just have one, some as many as 17 or 18. Springfield alone has at least 48. All together there will be over 210 exhibits in 50 communities by mid summer of 2009.
